A Message from Athletic Director Cam Neal

We’re back!

After a year and a half of craziness, Fall 2021 is here and I can’t wait to see our Vintage Crusher athletes compete again!

Spring 2021 was a blur - so many sports crammed into a short amount of time. Regardless, our VC athletes showed up and picked up right where we left off back in March of 2020. Even though the VVAL Board of Managers elected to not have league awards (so no league-issued pennants were handed out), we had NINE teams finish at the top of the standings, plus many others land in the top three. I am proud of how our student athletes competed and didn’t get distracted by semantics.

This is my eleventh year serving as the Vintage High School Athletic Director, and I continue to believe that I have the best job in town. On any given day, I have the opportunity to see great people, young and old, do great things. I get to watch Crusher Alumni give back to their school and teach our kids the way they were taught many years ago. I get to watch future Crusher athletes attend the games, dreaming that one day, they, too, will wear the Burgundy and Gold. My job allows me to not only see our Crusher Community come together, but to see Crusher generations come together.

I recognize that the challenges brought on by covid-19 weren’t limited to our high school athletes and there have been bigger things out there, including in our own community. So, when we still feel the love through local business sponsorship despite financially difficult times, it absolutely does not go unnoticed. We appreciate the support and more, we encourage all our VC fans to treat this as a reciprocal relationship - we need to honor these businesses with our patronage.

Crusher Pride. Fight on!
